The Present

This week I am:
- Staying still, letting my body take time to recover and regain strength.
- Eating very, very well thanks to the friends who have been continuing to drop off dinners for our family each day
- Sipping warm tea, letting the principles of Ayurveda warm my body up again
- Spending a lot of time sitting on the couch nursing sweet Summer
- Reading a new instant favourite, Momma Zen

I am taking time to enjoy quiet days, without any to-dos or goals. We go outside, we eat well, we cuddle, we read stories.

I am enjoying Summer's new-ness. I may not be a fan of newborn sleep patterns and frequent eating but boy do I love her smooshy cheeks, chicken legs, little lips and bobbing head.
