Today the sun is shining hot and warm, the temperature's still rising near 10 above zero, and my little girl is awake, ready to burn off some energy outside!
So I'm going to make like a toddler and run giddily into the woods, now and I thought I'd leave you with this poem by Dorothy Parker, one of my favourites, and the authoress after whom this blog is named. Enjoy!

Daylight Savings by Dorothy Parker

My answers are inadequate
To those demanding day and date
And ever set a tiny shock
Though strangers asking what's o'clock;
Whose days are spent in whittling rhyme-
What's time to her, or she to Time?
